Our three-step coaching approach means you’re never without expert guidance during the college application process—whether you’re taking your first standardized test or deciding which of your acceptance letters unlocks the door to your dream school.

STEP 1: PREP

The road to college begins well before the fall of your senior year of high school. As early as your freshman year, we’ll review relevant testing timelines, counsel you on application essentials like extracurricular activities and volunteer work, and set up your online account with our office. We also collaborate with the best test prep coaches around to ensure your scores soar.

Of course, you’re more than a list of clubs and AP credits. At this stage, we’ll also begin discovering your talents and passions to help tell your unique story to colleges when you begin the application process.

STEP 2: MATCH

With thousands and thousands of college options available, it’s time to get personal. To help you find your perfect-fit college, we start by administering the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator to uncover your communication and learning styles and the Strong Interest Inventory to explore potential college majors.

We then customize a list of 20-25 colleges that fit your academic goals and take into account the search variables that matter to you most: size, geography, campus groups, study abroad opportunities, and Greek life, for example. From there, we’ll walk you through the steps to a successful campus visit and help narrow your hefty college list down to a handful of favorites.

STEP 3: APPLY

The application can be the most overwhelming component of the college journey. Should you apply Early Action or Early Decision? Who should write your recommendations? What are the components of an extraordinary personal essay? Don’t worry—we work to ensure an exceptional application lands on the desk of your admissions officers. We’ll polish your vitae and extracurricular resumes, prepare special YouTube or DVD supplements to highlight any talents, and coach you through admission and scholarship interviews.

With a sparkling application in the hands of your reviewers, the wait for spring begins when the acceptance letters start rolling in. We’ll review your offers together to help you pick the best possible fit. Once you’ve made your final choice, we’ll talk about first-year expectations and chart an academic schedule with your new college team. (Oh, and we’ll celebrate, too.)
